As the season shifts and the world turns a little greener, St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner, promising a grand celebration of all things Irish. This festive day is a fantastic opportunity to indulge in some delicious and, quite fittingly, green snacks.

Nothing embraces the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day quite like a table laden with verdant treats, as vibrant and lively as a spring meadow. We’ve got just the recipes you need for a jolly treat this St. Paddy’s season.

How To Craft the Luckiest Treats Around

Delicious food starts with quality ingredients, but it doesn’t end there. Equally important are the tools of the trade, the cookware that turns raw ingredients into culinary magic. A cornerstone of any well-stocked kitchen is quality ceramic cookware.

Ceramic cookware has rightly claimed its place in modern kitchens. With its even heating, food cooks uniformly, an essential feature for perfect snacks every time. It’s non-stick, making it ideal for healthier recipes like our green snacks since we’ll use less oil. As a bonus, it also means easier cleaning after all the cooking fun.

Now, let’s explore some amazing recipes — because being green never looked so good.

1. The Emerald Green Smoothie

Our first zesty green offering is the emerald green smoothie. This nutrient-packed powerhouse often begins a health-conscious day but doubles as a refreshing snack.

For ingredients, you’ll need a cup of fresh spinach, one ripe banana, half of a green apple, one cup of almond milk, a handful of ice cubes, and honey or agave to taste.

To prepare, place all ingredients into your blender. Blend until smooth, stopping to scrape down any ingredients if needed. That’s it. Pour it into a tall, frosty mug, stick a straw in it, and enjoy this liquid jade delicacy. Cheers to good health.

2. Guacamole Deviled Eggs

Next on our green festive menu, we’re recreating the deviled egg with an avocado twist. Pull out the favorite of every party, the guacamole, and say hello to guacamole deviled eggs.

Grab six large eggs, one medium avocado, one tablespoon of fresh lime juice, salt and pepper to taste, and a sprinkle of paprika.

Hard boil the eggs, let them cool, then peel and cut in half. Scoop out the yolks and mix them with your avocado, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Fill the egg whites with the blend, sprinkle some paprika to taste, serve chilling, and prepare for the rave reviews. With these eggs, you’re not just eating a snack. You’re having an experience. Let’s get cracking.

3. Green Spinach Pancakes

Green spinach pancakes might be a little unexpected, but they’re sure to be a hit this holiday. Share healthy veggies in a delightful package with green spinach pancakes.

Gather up one cup of fresh spinach, one cup of flour, one egg, a 2/3 cup of milk, and salt and pepper to taste.

Blend the spinach, egg, and milk until smooth in your blender. Transfer the mixture to a bowl and gently stir in the flour, salt, and pepper. When your ceramic pan is heated with a drop of oil, pour in a small amount of pancake batter and cook until bubbles appear, then flip. Serve hot with a dollop of light sour cream or a classic maple syrup.

4. Matcha Green Tea Cookies

Switching gears to the sweet side, we present these soft, mouthwatering matcha green tea Cookies. Cozy up with a cup of tea and one (or three — no judgment here!) of these gems.

The ingredients include two cups of flour, a 3/4 cup of sugar, two tethered matcha green tea bags, one cup of unsalted butter, one egg, and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract.

Mix dry ingredients in a bowl. In a separate bowl, beat butter and sugar until fluffy, then add the egg and vanilla extract. Gradually add dry ingredients, combining well. Scoop tablespoon-sized balls onto a ceramic baking tray, then bake at 375°F (190°C) for about 10-12 minutes or until edges are slightly golden.

5. Pea and Mint Soup

Our last entrée is a green classic — pea and mint soup. It’s a perfect combo of flavors with a vibrant color that screams St. Patrick’s Day!

Get two cups of frozen peas, one onion, one garlic clove, one cup of vegetable stock, fresh mint, and salt and pepper to taste

Sauté your onion and garlic in a touch of oil inside your ceramic pot until softened. Add frozen peas, vegetable stock, and fresh mint. Simmer until peas are thoroughly cooked. Once cooled slightly, blend until smooth. Adjust seasoning, and your lovely green soup is ready to be savored!
